Broomstick Back Mobilization

For rounded shoulders, a hunched upper back, shortened chest muscles, tension in the upper and mid-back, and general back mobilization.

Instructions

Hold the broomstick comfortably and move slowly as demonstrated, but stay within your own pain-free range. Keep your shoulders relaxed, your chin tucked, and avoid forcing the movement. A few minutes per day can be helpful after sitting for too long.

For safety: Only perform this exercise when it has been recommended by your therapist. Always modify the exercise according to your fitness level and your body's response. Stop and consult a healthcare professional immediately if you experience sharp pain or persistent discomfort.
